are these rankings?<\/h3><p>This is our own ranking system based on UK competitive tournaments (2 day tournaments using Swiss pairings). <br \/><br \/>Players score 10points multiplied by the number of attendees for first place (to a maximum of 500 points) and 10points less for each placings below 1st, i.e. a player coming third at a 50 person tournament would score 480 points. <br \/><br \/>There is a podium bonus of half the number of players points for first place, i.e. 25pts at a 50person tournament, half that for 2nd and half again for 3rd.<\/p><p>Strength of schedule is used to split any players on exactly equal points.<br \/><br \/>Players are awarded the sum of their highest 3 tournament performances and ranked accordingly.<br \/><br \/>Please get in touch if you'd like to
